About the Poet

George Henry Etnea Koehler, born 1960 in Hamburg, is a writer and musician based in Frankfurt on Main.

A childhood and youth in South Africa instilled an unbroken love of English and it has remained the preferred language of his soul.

He developed different meta-fictional writing techniques uniting chance operative methods with spontaneous stream-of-consciousness prose and has experimented with permutations, variations and fragmentations of all kind including cut-ups, as well as working with more traditional ballad, haiku, and short story forms.

All these are only finger exercises, a flexing of methods and techniques, en route to an ambitious dream of a series of librettos, radio plays, and graphic novels that propose to assimilate all above-mentioned forms and methods into a Gesamtkunstwerk.
